Frequently asked questions

We recommend to either carry cash or withdraw at Dehradun as there are hardly any ATMs in Sankri or post that. Mussoorie and Nainbagh, on the way to Purola, are the last places where you will find an ATM.

You can get pretty fair connectivity on BSNL sims, Other connections are shaky and wonโ€™t work properly. Purola is the last place before the trek where youโ€™re likely to get a stable mobile signal. This is about an hour and a half before Naitwar, the base camp.

kedarkantha trek

I trekked to kedarkantha peak with Uttarakhand trip trek (UTT)and it was a wonderful experience!! We had booked the trek from dehradun to dehradun and tempo driver madan ji is a really joyful person. Travel was good and comfortable. After reaching Sankri,, we were warmly welcomed by our trek leader Pramod Ji & his team. He & his team organised all the rental equipment's and manged everyone really well. Food quality was also good. Overall experience was very good and we all had good time. Thank you UTT for this wonderfull trip!!

Kedarkantha Jan 2, 2019

An absolute stunner. Brilliant. The trail was pristine, straight out of a fairytale. It was so beautiful, mesmerizing. A big shout-out to UTT. Laxman and Bisht were gems as our guides. They were funny, caring, hardworking and motivating all the time. We felt more of them as our trekking mates than leaders. The batch was nice, we played so much of Dumb-Charade and made so much noise. The UTT staff at every campsite needs our congratulations for bearing such harsh conditions, and provide us lip smacking food.

KEDARKANTHA trek with UTT

Well, this trek being my first ever Himalayan trek has left me speechless in all manner. You dont go to the Himalayas just for trekking but instead you get to learn a lot of life lessons. One thing that I have observed is that the Trekking culture and the way of work inUTT is way too different as compared to other Trek organisers. The Food which was served to us was just too good. Our Trek Leaders Laxman and Bisht were always there with us through thick and thin. They always acted more like friends to us than trek leaders. They continued to motivate us to reach the summit in a frozen temperature of -25. I will surely return back with some other trek and learn some more lessons and collect even more memories that I could cherish for life. One thing is for sureโ€ฆ โ€œIF IT IS HIMALAYAS, IT HAS TO BE UTT!
